    • Mervin Chiang, CTIO Procensol to deliver keynote at Agile Brisbane Meet-Up.

Abstract: We live in a world of constant change. Economies, industries, governments and even technologies are changing at an unprecedented rate. Traditional ICT and business transformation strategies can no longer keep pace. There is a real drive towards faster and more rapid means of innovation, modernisation and digitisation.

“Going Agile” has been gaining notable traction lately in meeting this need in some places. However, have we arrived? Are we fast enough to meet this demand? Can Agile practices alone affect businesses and how they relate to customers when we are still stuck with rigid processes, procedures, policies and legacy systems?

In this session, Mervin will present a new way of looking at Digital Transformation and Solution Design in the modern age. He will discuss how Agile is crucial to this, but in itself, Agile needs to be disrupted. He will encourage a healthy discussion around how we as practitioners can brace for the impact of this disruption which may already be at our doorsteps.
